Watermelon!

So tonight I decided to paint my nails with little watermelons on them. They turned out a little messy, but cute!

All I needed was a pink/red color, two different greens, a black and a nail dotter.

First the base coat.

Then a thick green tip.

Then a thinner green tip with the other green. 

Finally dots and it's done!

bracelets

Just a (poorly lit) picture off all the bracelets on my wrist. They make me happy every time I see them. 

Grasshopper!

Today I made this really yummy grasshopper bark.

Step 1: Melt white chocolate. (Mine had issues melting, but still turned out great!)

Step 2: Add mint extract and food coloring.

Step 3: Lay out on pan and refrigerate. While it cooled and hardened I melted the dark chocolate. 

Step 4: Put dark chocolate and mint candies on top of white chocolate mint. Let cool and then enjoy!

I also found a strange group of chocolates stuck together in the bag and I thought I would share that too. 

Balloon Bowl

Sooooo, yet another Pinterest craft. Here is what the original looked like.

Here's how I did mine.

What I used. 

Begin that glueing.

Letting it dry. 

And the final product!

WOW! What a disaster. It looked fine when I popped the balloon, but once I started to peel the balloon and buttons apart it all collapsed. I nominate this one for pinstrosity. 

A Little Sparkle Project

I felt that my room needed a little more sparkle, so I came up with a little idea that was a combination of many Pinterest ideas. 

It required these materials (and glue which isn't in the picture.) 

Now with all of my stuff I began to work. 

All taped up.

Adding that sparkle. 

And it's done!

Super easy and looks pretty cool hanging up in my room. 

Simple Flowers

The other day I decided to try something that I have seen a lot on Pinterest. The original pin that I saw looked like this.

Mine turned out like this, with a little more touch up done after the picture.

I like how it turned out.
